UT Test Block Standard Block: Formulated by authoritative bodies with unified material, dimension and defects for general calibration, such as IIW, CSK-IA, CSK-III. Reference Block: Matches material and thickness of workpieces, equipped with flat bottom holes, side drilled holes and grooves to evaluate defect equivalent size. Special Block: Dedicated for DAC, DGS, TOFD and phased array inspection.

 

PT Test Block Built with standard artificial open defects like wire-cut cracks, notches and pinholes. Used to verify penetrant sensitivity, cleaning & developing effect and inspection procedure. Typical types: Aluminum alloy & stainless steel reference block, chrome-plated block, Type B block.

 

MT Test Block Contains standard surface and subsurface defects including cracks and grooves. Applied to calibrate magnetic particle equipment, magnetization parameters, suspension performance and detection sensitivity. Typical types: Type A test piece, Type C test piece, magnetic field indicator.

 

RT Test Block Designed with steps, holes and grooves. Used to calibrate X-ray machine, film/detector sensitivity, darkroom processing and geometric unsharpness. Typical types: Image Quality Indicator, step wedge block, double wire IQI.
